I have had dealings with Shawbrook Bank for over 3 years and found them to be extremely poor at communication.I had a review contested by them as I simply reported 2 x County Court Judgements totalling over £21k having been recorded against them in February 2021 which is a matter of public record.I asked for confirmation by Senior Management that this was a customer service issue as opposed to a financial one and the post was immediately asked to be removed from Trustpilot.I have written to both the FCA & PRA for their comments regarding this as well as the current CEO Ian Cowie from whom I am still awaiting a response.I have recommended Shawbrook as a good deposit bank to friends and colleagues in the past and was seeking reassurance that this was not a financial issue as some of the deposits may well exceed the £85k compensation threshold.I am now advising anyone with any issue to contact Lindsey McMurray at Pollen Street Capital Ltd, who as the main shareholding company needs to be made fully aware of the issues within the bank.I am not sure if matters of this nature are being kept "in house" so as not to incur the wrath of the holders of the purse strings ?It is worth noting that the full accounts for 2020 will be released circa April 2021 so it may well be advisable to await these and conduct your own research before entering into any dealings with this organisation.
